Grit City Backyard Ultra
The Grit City Backyard Ultra takes place in downtown Tacoma, Washington on 10/04/2026 at 712 E 35th St. The event uses a repeated loop format: runners complete a 3.3-mile loop through downtown Tacoma that passes the Bridge of Glass, the Glass Museum, the Tacoma Dome, and sections with city views. The loop is run every hour on the hour for up to 15 hours; completing all 15 laps equals 45.5 miles and is recorded as a finisher.
