The Grimpée du Signal is a nighttime race organized by the Alpe d'Huez 21 sports association. Scheduled for August 12, 2024, this event is open to runners born in 2006 and earlier. It is a mini vertical race of 800 meters with an elevation gain of 250 meters.
Participants must complete as many climbs as possible within a set time, with current records of 8 climbs for men and 7 for women. A new feature for 2024 is the introduction of the Health Prevention Course (PPS) as an alternative to the medical certificate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
