Greyton Brew Run 2026
Greyton Brew Run is a trail running event in Greyton, Western Cape. It features multiple trail distances, on-course refreshment stations, pre-run coffee and a complimentary pint of craft beer for finishers who present their race number. Entry fees are donated to the Greyton House Bursary Fund to support local education.
Routes start and finish at Greyton Town Square and follow trails through fynbos and mountain scenery around the town. Course descriptions note varied terrain and scenic views on the longer routes and accessible trails on the shorter route.
Distances:
- 21 km Trail Half Marathon: mountainous route with varied terrain.
- 13 km Trail Run: intermediate route with scenic trails.
- 6 km Fun Run/Walk: introductory route, dog friendly.
Compulsory kit for the 13 km and 21 km routes includes a cell phone, hydration (camelback or waist pack), windbreaker, space blanket, whistle and a basic first aid kit. Organizers strongly recommend a hat, sun lotion and a fleece. Water points supply iced tea, energy drinks, Coke, water and snacks including date squares.
Parking is available at the Old Moravian Hall next to the yellow library in Greyton; parking attendants will monitor vehicles. The event is organised by the Greyton Trail Running Society. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
