Greenwich Park 5k, 10k & Juniors September 2027
This event takes place at the Bandstand in Greenwich Park, London SE10 8QY, and offers timed 5K, 10K and junior races on marked laps within the park. The course runs on undulating tarmac paths through tree-lined sections and open parkland, with start and finish alongside the bandstand and views across the city.
Entry includes a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos, post-race goodies and a secure bag drop. Water is provided on course each lap and a bottle is available at the finish. Toilets are located a short walk from the event village. Professional photographers capture finish line images for free download.
Practical details include lap distances and minimum ages:
- 5K : 1.5 laps, minimum age 11
- 10K : 3 laps, minimum age 15
- Junior Race : 1 mini lap
A secure baggage marquee is available; baggage tags attach to race numbers and staff assist with collection. Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome and asked to be mindful of other runners. Dogs may not run in the races and must be kept on a lead in the event village. There is limited parking and paid parking within Greenwich Park. Due to park restrictions, competitors expecting to take longer than 1.5 hours should contact the organiser in advance.
