Greenway Trick 'R Trot
Greenway Trick 'R Trot takes place on October 24, 2026, at the Shangri-La Trailhead and Campground, 12788 SW 69th Ct, Ocala, FL 34473. The event was moved to this location for 2026 due to construction at the Pruitt Trailhead.
The event offers multiple trail distances and ruck divisions. Distances include:
- 5K Run and Ruck, 3.1 miles
- 10K Run and Ruck, 6.2 miles
- 5K and 10K Challenge, 9.3 miles total
Ruck divisions require a pre-race weigh in and follow General Civilian Standards. Required dry ruck weights are: men under 150 lbs 20 lbs; men 150 lbs and over 30 lbs; women any weight 20 lbs. "Dry" weight means the ruck weight without water, food, or personal gear.
The course uses sections of the Florida Trail and passes through areas of live oak canopy. Headlamps are required for the 10K and the combined challenge. Finishers receive medals and there are top awards for each event. The event is presented by Combat Racing. There is a minimum suggested donation per participant of $25 to support Florida Trail maintenance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
