Greenhouse Haunted Wine Run 5k
The Greenhouse Haunted Wine Run 5k is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at Greenhouse Winery in Irwin, PA on October 4, 2026. The course is an out and back route that starts and finishes at the winery, is mostly on paved roads, and includes a few challenging hills. The route is suitable for both runners and walkers.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib, and a pour of wine. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib but do not receive a wine glass or a serving of wine. Results are posted online and timing is chip based.
Top three finishers in each age category receive a custom age group award. Ten-year age groups are used: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over. Age group awards are available for pickup on race day only.
Proceeds from the event will support Pet Friends Inc, a volunteer animal rescue organization that rescues and rehabilitates lost and unwanted dogs and cats in southwestern Pennsylvania and works to provide medical care, temporary sanctuary, and educational programs related to pet overpopulation.
