Course, logistics and awards
The course is described as a mostly flat, certified 5K route through Greendale. Early bib/chip packet pickup is available on Thursday, July 3 at Greendale First Baptist Church, 45 Tebbs Ave. Bib/chip pickup and race day registration are offered on race day. Announcements, sponsor thank-yous and course instructions are given before the start. A race map is provided.
Entry fees are tiered: $25 through June 30, $30 from July 1 to July 3, and $35 on race day. Overall awards are given to the top male and top female. Age-group awards are provided for the run and the walk. Run age groups include: 10 & Under; 11-13; 14-15; 16-17; 18-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 & Up. Walk age groups include: 19 & Under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 & Over. The walk event is designated competitive and walkers must walk the entire course.
