Green Flag Trail Run
The Green Flag Trail Run takes place at Van Stadens Flower Reserve during the Van Stadens Flower Festival on 25 October 2026. The event is presented in association with the FoVS Indigenous Plant Sale and Nelson Mandela Bay and is powered by MetroWind.
There are two way options for participants:
- 5km entry fee R175 with Primary School children under 13 paying R50
- 15km entry fee R275
Age categories are specified: Primary School competitors under 13 may enter the 5km only, and competitors aged 50 and older may enter either distance. Entries open on 1 January 2026 and pre entries close at 13:00 on 22 October 2026. Late entries are accepted on race day. No refunds are offered. Substitutions are permitted via the Entry Ninja profile; late substitutions incur an additional fee of R100 and late entries carry an extra R50 charge.
The event is not dog friendly. Route profiles are provided for the 5km and 15km options. The festival program includes a flower reserve festival that runs concurrently with the trail run.
