Great Welsh Marathon Events
The Great Welsh Marathon Events include a Marathon, a Half Marathon and a 10K. Organisers state they aim to relocate to a new home in 2027 and plan a revised course for that year; current information lists Pembrey Country Park as the race start and finish location.

The events are UKA licensed and AIMS certified and are listed as a World Marathon Majors qualifying race. Hydration and energy stations are provided on course, with Brecon Carreg named as the water partner and water available at the finish. Toilets and women-only facilities are provided in the race village and along the route. Medical cover is provided by St John Cymru Wales.
Race packs, including a race number with an integrated timing chip and safety pins, are posted out about two weeks before race day. On-site camping and event village facilities are mentioned, and parking is available within Pembrey Country Park with charges managed by the local council.
Entry options include general entry, a virtual challenge, elite entry, corporate places and charity entries. Transfers and deferrals are permitted under the stated deadlines and fees; refunds are not offered.
