About the race
The DWS Great Pumpkin 5K is the 13th annual community event held in Marshfield that benefits the Daniel Webster School PTO. The event is open to participants of all ages and abilities and permits running, walking, rolling, or strolling on a neighborhood course.
The course is a flat, neighborhood 5K that starts and finishes at Daniel Webster School, 1456 Ocean Street, Marshfield, MA. Proceeds support programs and activities for DWS students. Awards are given to winners in each age group.
Registration details in the source list an open and a free registration option for children 4 and under. A registration fee of $30.00 is shown for the main entry. Race t-shirts are free for the first 100 online registrants; additional shirts will be available for purchase on race day while supplies last.
Bib pick-up is offered before the race: early pick-up at Stellwagen Beer Company in Marshfield on Thursday, October 15, 5:00-7:00 PM, and race day pick-up at Daniel Webster School on Sunday, October 18, 8:30-9:30 AM. Parking is available on the school blacktop and in the parking area behind the school. Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades or skates, and dogs are restricted from the race.
