Courses and logistics
Distances offered:
- 14 km - Classic route from Lindfield to Forestville Park
- 30 km - XL route from Forestville to Lindfield and back
- 5 km - Start and finish at Forestville Park
- 3 km - Start and finish at Forestville Park
The 14 km route begins on the Two Creeks Track at Lindfield, passes Roseville Bridge, reaches Killarney Heights viewpoints, then returns through Garigal National Park to Forestville. The terrain is primarily off-road and can include tree branches, roots, rocks, leaf litter and mud; running times are generally slower than on flat, smooth surfaces. Entrants must collect race bibs before starting (race morning or the day before at Forestville). Runners are encouraged to be self-sufficient for hydration and nutrition. A sweep follows the back of the field and cut-off rules apply to ensure the course closes on schedule. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. A post-race bus transfer from Forestville to Lindfield Oval or the train station is available as an option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
