Great Bison Shuffle
The Great Bison Shuffle is a trail running and walking event held at the Terry Bison Ranch in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This event is organized by Bighorn Racing in support of the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation. The course utilizes the natural landscape of the ranch, featuring a mix of buffalo trails, gentle rolling prairie pastures, and a specific rocky section known as the Terry Bison Incline.
Participants can choose from a range of distances including:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- 2K Walk
- Kids Run
The event location is situated at 51 I-25 Frontage Road. For those traveling from outside the local area, accommodation is available directly at the Terry Bison Ranch. All participants registered for the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and 2K Walk receive an official event t-shirt while supplies last. A post-race breakfast is provided for those taking part in the event.
Proceeds from the registration fees are designated for the purchase of exercise equipment for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab programs. Packet pickup is available on the day prior to the race at the CRMC Foundation Offices or on the morning of the event at the race site.
