Great Bison Shuffle - Cheyenne, WY
The Great Bison Shuffle is a trail run and walk held at the Terry Bison Ranch in Cheyenne on September 26, 2026. The event is organized by Bighorn Racing with proceeds benefiting the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation to purchase exercise equipment for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab programs.
The course runs across prairie pasture and buffalo trails and includes varied terrain, such as a short rocky rise known as "The Terry Bison Incline." Course maps are provided and the route includes sections that are more demanding as well as gentler stretches. The event offers multiple distance options and provides an official 2026 event T-shirt to registrants while supplies last. A post race breakfast is included for participants.
Volunteer roles are available for the event; volunteers are informed about details and requirements in advance. The event takes place on working ranch land and is held regardless of weather conditions.
