GRC Coastal 5K
The GRC Coastal 5K is a point to point road race covering a 5 km distance along the Antrim Coast Road. The route starts in Carnlough and finishes at Glenarm, with the finish area located at Glenarm Beach Front car park. Organisers describe the event as probably the fastest 5k on the North Coast.
Entry includes chipped timing, a shuttle bus to the start line, a burger for all runners and a DJ at the finish area. The minimum age for entry is 12. Competitors aged 12 to 15 must run with an accompanying adult, and parental consent must be completed for all under 18s at registration or number pick up.
The event was managed by Glenlough Running Club and was marked as full at the time information was published. Entry fees were listed as Affiliated £25.00 and Non-Affiliated £27.00. Parking in Glenarm village is available at the harbour and sea front car parks. Once sold out, name changes were allowed through a substitution option and refunds were not available.
