Event overview
The 15th Annual Freedom Run 5k in Bigfork, Montana takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Lake Baked (191 Mill Street, Bigfork, MT 59911). The event is a 5K run/walk organized by the Rotary Club of Bigfork. Registration fee is listed as $25 and entries are open to participants up to age 100. Proceeds support the Grateful Nation Montana children’s scholarship fund and additional proceeds will support Bigfork High School sports teams.
Course and race details
The course is an out-and-back route that follows the Wild Mile Nature Trail / Bigfork Nature Trail. The start and finish are located at Competitive Timing’s arch in front of Lake Baked. Competitive timing is used at the start and finish, and a water station is provided at the halfway/turnaround point on the trail. Finish-line items include cookies and medals.
