Grandmaster Ultras 2027 : Arizona Strip ultrarunning event for runners 50 and older

Grandmaster Ultras is a multi-day ultrarunning event held 26–28 February 2027 near Mesquite, Nevada, on desert ATV trails and canyon terrain in the Arizona Strip. The event is organized around a 50K clockwise loop called the Thelma and Louise Loop plus a 6.2 mile out-and-back section. The 50K loop has about 1,580 feet of elevation gain and loss, with approximate elevations ranging from 1,722 to 2,605 feet. The route includes rocky trails, a short tunnel at mile 0.6, steep sections, and an overlook at about mile 19.

Race format uses repeated loops for longer distances: the 50 Mile is two 50K loops doubled, the 100K is two full 50K loops, and the 100 Mile is two full 50 Mile loops. Time cutoffs are listed for each distance with longer cutoffs for the 100 mile and 100K events. Pacers are permitted under specified conditions; runners aged 70 and older may have a pacer from the start in all distances. Aid stations are located at named points including Oasis, Cross Roads, Junction, Cattle Gate, and Overlook. Start and finish are near 501 Hillside Dr, Mesquite NV.
