Event overview
Grandmaster Ultras 2026 takes place from February 27 to March 1, 2026, in Mesquite, Nevada. The event is restricted to runners aged 50 and older. Race entries include ultramarathon distances with separate cutoff rules: the longest distances have a longer overall cutoff than the shorter distances.

Course and logistics
The primary loop is a 50K out-and-back that includes the clockwise Thelma Louise loop and a 6.2-mile out-and-back section. The 50K course lists total elevation gain and loss of 1,580 feet, a minimum elevation of 1,722 feet and a maximum elevation of 2,605 feet; the Thelma Louise site is reached near mile 19. The 50-miler uses the Thelma Louise loop twice, with a reported total elevation gain and loss of 2,450 feet. The 100K is two laps of the 50K, and the 100-miler is two laps of the 50-miler.
Aid stations are placed approximately every 4 to 7 miles, with named stops including Cross Roads, Junction, Cattle Gate, Overlook and Oasis. Pacers are permitted under specific conditions: for the 100-mile and 100K races after the first lap or when it gets dark; 50K and 50M runners may use a pacer if finishing in the dark.
