2026 Grand Teton & Yellowstone Half Marathon & 5K
The Grand Teton & Yellowstone series encompasses two consecutive weekends of events located near iconic national parks in Wyoming. Participants can choose from various distances and multi-race challenges involving 5K and half marathon courses.
The event offers several individual race options and combined challenges:
- Half Marathon (approx. 21 km)
- 5K
- Moose Double (Grand Teton 5K and Half Marathon)
- Bison Double (Yellowstone 5K and Half Marathon)
- Grizzly Double (Grand Teton and Yellowstone Half Marathons)
- Grand Quad Challenge (All four races)
The half marathon is a point-to-point course on paved roads and walking paths with an elevation gain of approximately 727 feet (222 meters). Sections of the course are on open roads where traffic may be present. The 5K events take place on Friday evenings preceding the half marathons, utilizing local trails and walking paths.
Included in the registration are chip timing, official results, a finisher’s medal, and a race shirt. Half marathon participants have access to aid stations providing water, hydration products, and basic first aid. For logistical convenience, shuttle services are provided from designated parking areas to the start line on race mornings, as there is no parking available at the start. Gear check services are also available for runners on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
