Grand Teton and Yellowstone Half Marathon and 5K (2027)
This event spans two weekends in Wyoming and offers separate races in Grand Teton and West Yellowstone. Distances include both half marathons and 5 km races, plus multi-race challenge options that combine events across the two parks and award additional medals for completing multiple races.

Course notes describe specific start areas and route features. The Grand Teton half marathon begins in Wilson at the Stilson Lot and follows local roads and a flat paved jogging trail, crosses Moose Wilson Road and the Snake River by a pedestrian bridge, then continues to Spring Gulch Road toward the finish. The Grand Teton 5K is a paved loop starting and finishing at the Stilson Lot with minimal elevation change and wide views of the Tetons. The Yellowstone half marathon includes town sections, a bridge over the South Fork Madison River, forested climbs including about 200 feet of ascent, technical rocky and weedy trails, fast downhills, and mostly flat or gently downhill final miles. The Yellowstone 5K starts near Iris Street and Yellowstone Avenue, runs a mile through town, then uses forest service roads before returning near the expo area.
Included with entry are a finisher’s medal, race shirt and swag, chip timing and official results, aid stations on the half marathon courses with water, electrolyte mix, bathrooms and basic first aid, an expo and packet pickup with race-morning options, race day gear check, shuttle service from parking to the start, race announcements, and post-race awards ceremonies. Parking for expo and races is provided at the Stilson Lot for Grand Teton and the open lot on Iris Street in West Yellowstone.
