Event
The Gower Coastal Trail Races are three long-distance trail races on the Wales Coast Path around the Gower peninsula. The event date is 26 September 2026. Entries open 28 November 2025 and close 18 September 2026. Entry fees listed are £85, £55 and £42 for the respective races, with a £10 coach option to reach some start points. GPS tracking and electronic timing are provided for all competitors. A compulsory kit list must be carried by all runners.

Route and logistics
The routes mainly follow the Wales Coast Path and pass beaches, bays, coves, cliffs, dunes, farmland and fishing villages. The Ultra 50 starts on cliffs above Limeslade Bay, drops to Mumbles Pier and includes Swansea Bay, Clyne Woods, the Loughor Estuary and a long crossing of Rhossili Bay before following the southern Gower coast east to Rams Tor. The shorter races join the Ultra route for the latter sections.
There are manned checkpoints with refreshments such as water, energy drinks, tea and coffee, snacks and hot food. Provisional checkpoint locations are listed along the course. Facilities at the event base include changing, toilets, showers, post-race food, a medal and first aid and physiotherapy cover. Drop bags are provided to and from Llhanrhidian for the Ultra 50.
