Gourdy's Pumpkin Run in Manchester is a fall-themed 5K (3.1 miles) held at Veteran's Memorial Park, 723 Elm St, Manchester, NH. The course runs along tree-lined paths with occasional river views and mixes city scenery with park areas. The event includes on-course chip timing and a post-race atmosphere with apple cider and photo opportunities.
Registration covers entry to the 5K run or walk and a packet of event items: a lightweight tech hoodie, finisher's medal, commemorative bib, chip timing, a cup of apple cider, and a small pumpkin. The event also offers an online community for training and engagement leading up to race day. Registration pricing varies by date, ranging from $44 (May 14–July 12) up to $65 (September 21–October 3).
The event organizes participants into waves based on expected pace; examples include a faster Wave A (example pace 8:30 per mile and under) and walker waves labeled Wave F for solo walkers and Wave G for walking groups. About one third of participants typically choose to walk. Team registration is available; teams of four or more receive a $5 per person discount.
