BRISCO Gorseinon 10K

The BRISCO Gorseinon 10K is a not for profit community road race organised by Morgan's Army Charitable Foundation in Gorseinon, Swansea. The event is based at Penyrheol Leisure Centre and includes a main 10K and a 2K Family Fun Run. Roads on the course are fully closed for the event, with closures remaining in place until the final runner finishes.

10K - fully closed road course, marshalled, water at about 5 km, finisher medal
2K Family Fun Run - timed and due to be officially measured, open to families

The race returned to the local calendar in 2023 after a long break and is operated on a fully not for profit basis. Race income is shared between Morgan's Army Charitable Foundation and a local charity partner, with entries and sponsorship supporting community causes. The 2027 charity partner is Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity, with funds directed to play therapy, hospital equipment and emotional support for children at the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales.

Race day includes a community fun day hosted with Gorseinon Town Council and Penyrheol Leisure Centre featuring live music, food stalls and rides. The event also offers elite entry options, a corporate challenge and volunteer opportunities to support race operations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
