Event Overview
The 3rd Annual Gopher Tortoise Gallop is a 5K run/walk event. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Okeeheelee Nature Center, with all proceeds going to support the center.

Event Details
The 5K is a chipped-timed event. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, the top three in each age group, and the largest registered group or team.
Participants receive a personalized bib with an RFID timing chip, an event shirt, and a finisher medal. Post-race activities are also part of the event. It is described as a family event.
