3rd Annual Gopher Tortoise Gallop 5K
The 3rd Annual Gopher Tortoise Gallop is a 5K run and walk held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach, Florida. The course starts and finishes at Micanopy Pavilion and, new for this year, passes by Okeeheelee Nature Center. The event is organized and sponsored by the Friends of Okeeheelee Nature Center, with proceeds designated to support the nature center.
This is a chipped timed event using RFID timing chips. Race results include awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, top three finishers in each age group, and an award for the largest registered group or team. Each participant receives a personalized bib with an RFID timing chip, an event shirt, and a finisher medal. Post-race activities are provided on site.
