Gopher to Badger Half Marathon
The Gopher to Badger Race is scheduled for August 7, 2027. The event offers multiple distances and includes timed results, finisher medals, and participant amenities.

The traditional course begins in Stillwater, Minnesota, and finishes in Hudson, Wisconsin, crossing the I-94 bridge over the St. Croix River. In 2026 an alternate course was used because the river crossing was not possible; the traditional border crossing route is planned to return in 2027. All race courses are USATF certified and sanctioned.
Race services include chip timing by Mtec Results, participant tracking via the Run Stillwater app, and personalized bibs up to 10 characters. Runners receive shirts and collectible finishers medals each year. Support on course includes staffed water stations with water and Gatorade, restroom facilities at starts and about every two miles, bag drop with provided clear bags, pacers for the half marathon, and finish line recovery food and beverages. A selfie clock displays name and time at the finish, and video finish and free race photos are available through timing partners.
Packet pickup and in-person registration occur at local pickup locations. A free kids fun run is offered for children 10 and under, approximately 0.5K, traffic free and contained within the event grounds; children receive a bib and finisher medal or ribbon.
