About the race
The Gopher Hill Family 5K Run/Walk takes place on September 26, 2026, at the Jasper County Farmers Market, 9935 S Jacob Smart Blvd, Ridgeland, SC 29936. The course runs through the town of Ridgeland and is described as mostly flat.
The event is held as part of the annual Gopher Hill Festival. Runners and walkers can participate in a single 5K distance. Strollers are welcome.
Entry fees are tiered by date. Through September 19 the fee is $30 per person or $60 per family; after September 19 the fee is $35 per person or $65 per family. The family entry includes two t-shirts. Additional t-shirts are available for $20 each. Registration opens August 3. Registration completed by September 5 guarantees a long sleeve race t-shirt.
Medals will be awarded to the overall male and female winners and to finishers in each age group. The presenting sponsor is D&R Auto Brokers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
