Goliathon obstacle course run in Mullica Hill, NJ
Goliathon is a non-profit, family-friendly, ninja warrior style obstacle course run held at the Gloucester County Fairgrounds in Mullica Hill, New Jersey. The course is approximately 4 miles long and features 12 tiered obstacles. Obstacles are offered in three tiers: G1 (easy), G2 (difficult) and G3 (extreme). Participants may select a tier at each obstacle. Completing all G3 obstacles earns free entry into a future event.
The event uses a points system: G3 attempts earn 5 points, G2 earn 3 points and G1 earn 1 point. Only one attempt per obstacle counts and no points are given for unsuccessful attempts. Points count only for obstacles completed within four hours from the time a participant leaves the starting corral; participants may continue after four hours but will not accrue additional points.
Age and team rules are specified. Participants must be at least 10 years old; those ages 10 to 14 must be accompanied by a registered adult for the entire course. Teams can be created during registration and may have as few as two members; individual registrants may not create or join a team later. Teams with at least three females and three males are automatically entered in the team competition; final team scores total the top three female and top three male scores and prizes are awarded to the top three teams.
On course amenities include one to two water stations and first aid stations. Parking is available on site for a $10 per vehicle cash fee. Spectators are allowed but must follow a check in process and pay a $15 fee. Event pricing is tiered by date for adult and youth entries and includes insurance and processing fees. Proceeds support projects that bring clean water to communities in need. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
