Gobbler Hobbler 10K & Mashed Potato Mile
The event is an annual fall road race that includes a chip timed 10 km and a separate Mashed Potato Mile. The 10K follows a scenic route down the Fox River and through downtown Oswego, with the course beginning and ending at Fox Chase Elementary School. Volunteers staff three water stations along the course and provide a complimentary walking pancake offering after the run. There are no refunds for athletic events.
Packet pick-up is available before race day at Ogden Point Center and at Fox Chase Elementary School on the weekend of the event, with additional pick-up on race morning. Runners who register by October 29 are guaranteed a hooded sweatshirt.
Race operations note that participants with strollers are welcome but are asked to start at the back of the field. Course marshals remain on the route until the posted course closing time. Award ceremonies are held in the Fox Chase gym; 10K awards include first male and female overall, first masters (40+) male and female, and the top three male and female finishers across the listed age divisions from 13 & Under through 70+. The Mashed Potato Mile awards the top three male and female finishers in 11 & Under and 12 & Over divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
