Gobbler Hobbler 10K & Mashed Potato Mile : Oswego, IL
The Gobbler Hobbler features a chip timed 10 km run that follows the Fox River and passes through downtown Oswego. The course begins and ends at Fox Chase Elementary School and includes three volunteer‑staffed water stations along the route. A shorter event, the Mashed Potato Mile, is held as part of the same event weekend.

Registration tiers change by date and runners who register by October 29 are guaranteed a hooded sweatshirt; after that date sweatshirts are available while supplies last. There are no refunds for athletic events. Participants receive a complimentary walking pancakes offering after the run.
Packet pick up is available on multiple days and locations in the days before the event: at the Civic Center Concession Stand in Montgomery and at Fox Chase Elementary School in Oswego, with additional packet pick up on race day at Fox Chase Elementary.
Awards are given by gun time. The Mashed Potato Mile awards the top three males and top three females in two divisions: 11 and under, and 12 and over. The 10K awards top overall male and female, top masters (40+) male and female, and top three male and female finishers across standard age groups up to 70 plus.
