Event overview

The G.O.A.T. Ultra Trail Race takes place in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, on 24 and 25 January 2026. The event features multiple trail distances that run on the Hajar mountain range and around Jebel Jais and Wadi Naqab.

Race distances

  • 170 km - Wadi Naqab to Jebel Jais Top; elevation +11,000 m / -10,000 m; cut-off 48 hrs.
  • 100 km - Wadi Naqab to Jebel Jais Top; elevation +6,200 m / -4,800 m; cut-off 36 hrs.
  • 55 km - Jebel Jais Top loop; elevation +/- 3,800 m; cut-off 18 hrs.
  • 35 km - Jebel Jais Top loop; elevation +/- 2,500 m; cut-off 12 hrs.
  • 20 km - Jebel Jais Top loop; elevation +/- 1,000 m; cut-off 6 hrs.

Entry, travel and policies

Entry fees vary by distance and by registration period (early, standard, late). Example standard fees: 170 km 1,275 AED, 100 km 850 AED, 55 km 640 AED, 35 km 470 AED, 20 km 299 AED. Registration terms state that entry fees are non-refundable; entries can be deferred to future events and distance downgrades are allowed before race day but with no refund.

Participants may fly into Dubai International Airport (DXB) or Sharjah International Airport (SHJ). Transfers to Ras Al Khaimah must be arranged independently. Shuttle buses will be provided between official Ras Al Khaimah hotels and the race venue for registered runners; the schedule will be published later.
