Goat Rattler 100
The Goat Rattler 100 is a trail running event on September 18-19, 2026, starting at McGriff Park in North Ogden, Utah. The course is approximately 97% single track and features over 22,000 meters of elevation gain. The route offers views of the Wasatch Mountains. The race has a 36-hour cutoff.
Logistics
The start is at McGriff Park, 2950 N 900 E, North Ogden, UT. Camping is included at Cutler Flats through Sunday. Registration includes live GPS tracking, which is used for safety and for family to follow runners. Swag bags are provided, and there are raffles and giveaways. Pacers can be picked up starting at the Green Pond aid station (mile 33.4), though this location may change. Crews are allowed but must follow race rules to avoid disqualification for their runner.
Registration and Requirements
Registration costs $399, plus tax and Ultrasignup fees. Registration opens on December 1, 2025, and closes when full, with a waitlist if necessary. There is no qualification requirement for 2026, but the organizer notes the race is very difficult and suggests it should not be a runner's first 100-mile event. Refunds are available: a full refund (minus fees) through May 31, 2025, and a partial refund of $150 from June 1 to July 11, 2025. There are no rollovers.
