Goat Rattler 100
The Goat Rattler 100 is a long trail ultramarathon held around Ogden, Utah on 9/18/26. The course is reported as about 101.5 miles and is mostly singletrack, with organizers stating roughly 96% singletrack and substantial elevation gain. The event includes approximately 22,200 feet of vertical gain based on course summaries.
Every runner will carry a Garmin In-Reach device and live GPS tracking will be posted online so crews can follow progress in real time. For safety, the route crosses Pineview dam at mile 48.8 and requires a short 1.5 mile car shuttle; vehicles travel slowly on the side of the road before runners are released to continue on foot.
Registration opened on 12/1/2025. The organizer lists a refund policy: full refunds for withdrawals submitted by 5/31/25; a partial refund of $150 for withdrawals between 6/1 and 7/11; and no rollovers or bib transfers. Finishers receive a traditional belt buckle and additional branded finisher items from local sponsors. The event page also references a separate 50 mile race and course media such as videos and a course profile. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
