The event is organized by a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding medical studies and raising awareness regarding primary brain tumors and glioblastoma. Participants can choose between an in-person chip-timed race or a virtual option available to runners across the United States.
Race Options
Participants may register for the following distances:
- 3.1 Miles (In-person)
- 3.1 Miles (Virtual)
The in-person race is held at Cauley Creek Park on a USATF Certified course. The virtual race allows participants to complete the distance at any location between May 16 and May 31, 2026.
Participation and Facilities
The in-person event is family-oriented and permits the use of strollers and wheelchairs. Dogs are also allowed but must remain at the back of the starting group. Facilities include restrooms located at the staging area. Early packet pick-up is available the day prior at Big Peach Running in Suwanee, and day-of registration is offered at the park.
Awards and Recognition
The event features a Remembrance Ceremony and Survivor Walk following the race. An award ceremony recognizes the top three male and female finishers in several categories, including overall, Masters, and age groups ranging from 10-under to 70+. All registered participants receive a t-shirt or tank, a race bib, and a finisher medal. A portion of the registration fee serves as a donation to brain cancer research.
