Go Girls Go 5K : Fall 2026
The Go Girls Go Fall 5K is a semi-annual 5 kilometer road run/walk on a USATF certified figure-eight course in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Proceeds benefit the Healthy Communities Partnership and support the Go Girls Go! afterschool girls' empowerment and running program.
The Go Girls Go! program meets twice per week for lessons on topics such as self-esteem, peer relationships, decision-making, nutrition, diversity, and emotions. Participants also run during sessions to improve physical fitness and encourage ongoing activity and wellness.
Registration is available online and is scheduled to close on Wednesday, October 21 at 6:00 PM. Registration by October 11 includes a short-sleeve t-shirt; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after October 11. Entry fees vary by registration date and include an event-day fee for late registrants.
The event is chip timed by Timber Hill Timing. Finish times are recorded by timing chip and gun time is used for official results and awards. Runners must wear a timing chip on their shoe and a bib on their chest to receive a time and to be eligible for awards; failure to do so may result in disqualification. Awards are given to the first three overall male and female finishers and to first masters male and female finishers.
