2026 Go Girls Go Fall 5k
This event is a chip timed 5 km road race on a USATF certified figure eight course in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, held on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Proceeds benefit the Healthy Communities Partnership and support the Go Girls Go afterschool girls' empowerment and running program. The event is open to men, women, and children.
Go Girls Go meets twice per week for lessons on topics such as self-esteem, peer relationships, decision-making, nutrition, diversity, and emotions. Participants also run during each session to improve physical fitness and foster ongoing interest in activity and wellness.
Timing will be provided by Timber Hill Timing. The finish is chip timed; finish times are calculated using both the starting gun and the chip finish. Awards are determined by gun time. All participants must wear a timing chip on their shoe and a bib on their chest; failure to follow these instructions may result in disqualification.
Online registration closes October 30. Entry fees are listed by date: May 1 to October 11 $30 and includes a short sleeve t-shirt, October 12 to October 30 $30, and Event Day $35. Shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed by October 11.
Awards include first three overall male and female finishers and first masters male and female. Current course record times are recorded for male 00:17:32, female 00:20:12, masters male 00:18:42, and masters female 00:20:30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
