Gluten Free Gallop 5K
The Gluten Free Gallop 5K is an annual event organized by Denver Celiacs to raise awareness of celiac disease and gluten-related disorders. Taking place at Clement Park in Littleton, Colorado, the event celebrates its 13th year in 2026.
The event features two primary distances:
- 5 km (two laps around Johnson Reservoir)
- ROCK Fun Run (designed for children ages 12 and under)
The 5 km course consists of two loops around the Johnson Reservoir within Robert Clement Park. Participants can view the surrounding foothills while completing the route. The race setup is located near shelters J, K, and L, identifiable by a large entrance arch and a white tent. This is a family-oriented gathering that permits strollers and dogs.
Beyond the running events, the venue hosts various activities and amenities. Attendees can find food trucks, product samples, and various free items on-site. Specific activities are provided for children to engage with throughout the morning. The 2026 Gluten Free Gallop 5K is open to participants between the ages of 12 and 100, while the ROCK Fun Run is reserved for younger participants.
