Glenoma Park 5K
The Glenoma Park 5K is the 5th annual run/walk held at Glenoma Community Park in Glenoma, WA on July 12, 2026. The event is presented in memory of Darian Paige Atkinson and raises funds for the Darian Atkinson Scholarship to help local seniors pursue further education.
The course starts and finishes at Glenoma Community Park, proceeds southeast across Glenoma Road onto Old Orchard Road, then loops through the Kosmos Wildlife Area. Participants continue uphill toward the base of Dog Mountain before returning to the park. The surface is mostly dirt trail, with the final quarter mile on a shaded paved road.
Entry fee is $25.00. Kids aged 5 and under participate for free. The first 100 registered participants receive a custom DPA koozie and a swag bag.
Awards include overall prizes for first and second place male and female and age group awards for first place in the 12 and under category. Prizes for first place may include custom DPA tumblers and medals. All registered participants are entered into a prize drawing; additional raffle tickets may be available for purchase on race day and winners must be present to claim prizes. June 29 is the last day to pre-register before a price increase and to purchase event apparel, and July 11 is the final day to pre-register online.
