Glenoma Park 5K
The Glenoma Park 5K is an annual running and walking event held in Glenoma, Washington. The course begins at Glenoma Community Park and travels southeast toward the base of Dog Mountain. Participants follow a route along the mountain base before looping through the Kosmos Wildlife Area and returning to the park. The terrain consists of a mix of paved roads and dirt trails.
The event offers two main distances:
- 5 km
- 2 miles
The 2-mile option is designed to be stroller friendly. For younger participants, the event includes a scavenger hunt located along the trail. Children aged five and under may participate for free.
Registration includes entry into a prize drawing held after the race, with the option to purchase additional raffle tickets on the day of the event. The first 100 registered participants receive a custom foam trucker hat. Awards are provided for the first place male and female finishers in the 5 km distance. Participants who register by June 30 have the option to purchase event apparel such as shirts or hoodies. Online registration remains open until the day before the event.
