Event Overview
The Glendale Firehouse Run is a 46th annual community event. It offers three race distances: a 1-mile walk/run, a 5K run, and a 10K run. The event benefits Glendale-Kirkwood Kiwanis Youth Programs, Backstoppers, and Responder Rescue.
Location and Course
The race starts and finishes in front of Glendale City Hall at 424 N. Sappington Rd. The 10K route consists of the 5K course run twice. This is a shared road event, meaning roads remain open to vehicle traffic.
Participant Information
Chip timing is provided by Big River Race Management. The first 300 registrants receive a t-shirt. Awards and attendance prizes are given after the run. Awards are presented for overall and age group finishers in the 5K and 10K.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available in advance at the Glendale Municipal Center or on race morning. Parking is extremely limited at City Hall. Participants are advised to use legal street parking or park at North Glendale Elementary (765 N. Sappington Rd.) and Kirkwood Early Child Center (100 N. Sappington Rd.).
