Glencairn Trail Run

Glencairn Trail Run is a weekend trail running event held on Glencairn Farm in Underberg, KwaZulu Natal, at the foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains. The event runs over two days and features routes that run alongside the mountains, through dairy pastures, forest trails and alongside mountain rivers. The routes include some technical sections and varied terrain.

There are two main event options:

• The Lamb Run: Day 1 approx 9 km, Day 2 approx 10 km.
• The Ram Run: Day 1 approx 19 km, Day 2 approx 17 km.

Accommodation and entry options are offered as packages. The Full Package includes a canvas tent provided on site and a mattress. An Outside Stay option is available for those staying off site. All runner packages include six meals from Friday supper to Sunday lunch, tea table, an event garment, event medal, permanent ablutions with hot showers, medical support, 24 hour security, water tables and access to the serviced race village and post run entertainment such as yoga and live music.

A Supporters Package provides two nights accommodation in supplied tents, meals, access to the chill area and post run activities. A Children s Package covers children under 12 with accommodation and meals but does not include race entry for the child.
