Glen of the Downs
This is a trail race at Glen of the Downs, County Wicklow on Wednesday 29 July 2026. The event is part of the Trail League Leinster and is a marked route with GPS allowed. The course total climb is 292 m and the published event difficulty places it in an easy terrain category for distances of 6 km to 10 km.

- 4.88 km short / junior route
Mandatory kit is Level A basic and includes a showerproof, windproof jacket. The actual kit to be carried may be finalised on the day and will be advised at registration. Failure to have required items may lead to denied entry or disqualification; random kit checks may be carried out.
Entry opens Monday 27 July 2026 at 21:00 and closes Wednesday 29 July 2026 at 12:00. Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entry is limited to 250 competitors.
Getting there: travel south on the N11 from Dublin towards Wexford and take the exit for the Glenview Hotel. Parking is limited to about 80 outdoor spaces. Usual IMRA parking charges apply: free for a full car or €4/€3/€2 per vehicle depending on occupants. The Glenview Hotel is on the western side; Ballydonagh Lane is private and not for parking.
A short junior route is provided. There is no early start. Refreshments such as sandwiches and drinks will be available after the race and prize giving will take place in the car park. Volunteers must complete two non running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for the end of year prize; running volunteer roles do not always count for that qualification.
