Glen of the Downs : Trail race, Co. Wicklow
This is a trail race held at Glen of the Downs in County Wicklow. The course is fully marked and GPS use is allowed. The advertised climb is 292 m. Event difficulty is listed as 5 with Easy Terrain, 200 m to 500 m ascent and 6 km to 10 km distance bands.

Mandatory kit is Level A - Basic and includes a showerproof, windproof jacket. Runners must bring the required items, have the means to carry them, and note that the organiser will finalise the kit to be carried on the day and advise it at Registration. Random kit checks may take place and lack of required items can lead to denied entry or disqualification.
Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entries open Monday 27 July 2026 at 21:00 and close Wednesday 29 July 2026 at 12:00. The event is part of the Trail League Leinster.
Getting there: travelling south on the N11 from Dublin towards Wexford, take the exit for the Glenview Hotel. Parking is outdoors with about 80 car spaces. IMRA parking charges apply: free for a full car or 4/3/2 euro per vehicle depending on occupants. Do not park on Ballydonagh Lane which is private.
