Glen of Aherlow Trail Half-Marathon
This event takes place in the Glen of Aherlow, County Tipperary. The course covers 22.5 km of trails with a total climb of 300 meters. It is categorized as a moderate difficulty race.
The route is fully marked and GPS devices are permitted. It forms part of the Munster Half-Marathon League.
A mandatory kit list, categorized as Level B - Standard, is required for all runners. The list includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or equivalent. Runners must bring these items to the race, and the exact kit to be carried will be finalized on the day based on conditions. Failure to have the required items may result in denied entry or disqualification.
Race registration, parking, showers, toilets, and post-race refreshments are available at the Aherlow Community Center and GAA facilities in Lisvernane. An early start option is available for runners who feel they need it.
