About the race
The Glen Elder Fun Run is a community running and walking event in Glen Elder, Kansas, held at Waconda Lake and the Glen Elder Dam. The course routes take participants across the dam and include views of Waconda Lake and the town of Glen Elder. Registration and packet pick-up are organized on the downtown square at 228 West Main Street.
Distances offered:
- 2 miles walk along the dam
- 2 miles run across the dam
- 5 miles run across the dam and back to the downtown square
Registration opens on January 1, 2027. Pre-registration by June 17, 2027 guarantees a T-shirt. Registration fees are $25.00 per event. Registration closing dates vary by event in early July 2027.
