The Glasgow University Des Gilmore 5 Mile Road Race takes place on 7 March 2026 and marks the event's 62nd year. Online entry is open until 6 March 2026, subject to demand. On-the-day entries may be possible at Garscube Sports Complex at an increased price of £14, but these are not guaranteed. Standard entry prices listed until 6 March 2026 17:00 are £12 and a discounted £10 for qualifying members; a student entry option is listed at £10 until the same date. A service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each sign-up.
Registration, number collection, and on-the-day entries will be at Garscube Sports Complex from 10:00 am to 11:15 am. Toilet and changing room facilities are available at the venue. Prize-giving will take place immediately after the race inside the sports complex, with prizes for Masters Men/Women and Senior Men/Women. Results will be published on Power of Ten and runBritain.
