Glasgow University 5 Mile Road Race, renamed to honour a long-time club volunteer who recently passed away, takes place on the outskirts of Glasgow, starting at the Garscube Sports Complex and following a two-lap, UKA-certified 5-mile (8.05 km) course along quiet roads. The event, the flagship race of Glasgow University Hares & Hounds, balances flat sections with some hills, offering a solid test of speed and endurance. It is Scottish Athletics licensed, with results published on Power of Ten/runBritain.
