Maggie's Dundee Glamis Castle Running Festival 2026
The event is a running festival held on the grounds of Glamis Castle in Forfar, Angus, DD8 1RJ. It offers participants the choice to run or walk routes set within the castle grounds. The festival includes organized, sponsored challenges and supports Maggie's fundraising activities.
Distances available:
- 1 mile, inclusive; paths suitable for buggies and wheelchair accessible
- 5k, mainly firm trail paths with some mixed terrain
- 10k, mainly firm trail paths with some mixed terrain
All participants receive a Maggie's t shirt, dedicated fundraising support and a finishers medal. Registration is priced at £30. Under 18s must be accompanied by participating adults.
Well behaved dogs are permitted but must be kept on leads at all times. Complimentary doggy bandanas will be provided for canine participants. The festival is organized by Maggie's Dundee, a provider of free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends.
