Cupar 5 mile Road Race : 14 March 2026
The Cupar 5 mile Road Race is organised by Fife Athletic Club as a certified five mile event on an out-and-back route along a quiet country road. The course holds an AUKCM certificate and is conducted under SAL/UKA rules. A Police Scotland Temporary Traffic Restriction Order (TTRO) will be in place to provide a traffic controlled environment.
Registration takes place at the YMCA, Marathon House, 93 Bonnygate, Cupar, with athletes asked to allow time to reach the race start on St. Marys Road, approximately half a mile away. There are no showering facilities at the hall and participants are advised to arrive ready to run. Runners are asked to enter online in advance to speed result processing.
Entry is open to athletes aged 15 or older on the day; entries for those under 18 must be made by a parent or legal guardian. The standard entry fee is £12 with a £2 discount for Scottish Athletics members. Entries are non-refundable; transfers may be permitted at the organiser's discretion and must not involve reselling the entry for profit.
Prizes include the first three men and women and age-category awards, with one prize per finisher. A £100 bonus is offered for the first male and first female to beat the listed course records.
