Girls on the Run Santa Fe Spring 5K
The event is a season-closing 5K called Spring in Your Step 5k, held on May 10, 2026, at Santa Fe Community College. It is presented as a family-friendly, celebratory run that marks the end of the Girls on the Run season and is intended to give program participants a sense of accomplishment.
Registration is open to the general community with tiered fees: an early bird price of $25 before April 10, 2026, and $35 from April 11 through May 8. Current Girls on the Run participants and coaches are already registered for the 5K and do not pay an additional fee. Running buddies must register separately through a link provided by coaches and Girls on the Run Santa Fe. Additional family members and community participants must register and sign a waiver.
All participants will receive a T-shirt; sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the male and female categories. The event listing notes partnership with State Employees Credit Union and Santa Fe Community College and includes pre-run festivities such as Happy Hair, face painting, and a group warmup for registered attendees.
