Gilford Old Home Day 5K
The 49th Annual Gilford Old Home Day 5K is a community road run and walk held in Gilford, New Hampshire on August 29, 2026. The event is hosted by the Gunstock Nordic Association and starts near the Village store at 76 Belknap Mountain Road.
The event offers a 5K distance. Parking is available at the Gilford Elementary School and Gilford High School. Bib pick-up and in-person registration are available the evening before the race on Friday, August 28 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and the morning of the event at Gilford Elementary School from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Online registration is available through August 28 at 3:00 PM ET; the stated fee before that deadline is $30 and increases after the deadline. Category fees listed include $30 for most adult age groups, $10 for under 12, and $100 for a family of four. Race-day registration is available at the finish line and carries a higher fee. Accepted payment methods include cash, checks, and Venmo; credit cards are not accepted.
Awards include major gift certificates to Piche's for the first three overall men and women, plus prizes in age-group divisions; recipients must be present to receive awards.
