Gilford Old Home Day 5K

The Gilford Old Home Day 5K is an annual road race presented by the Gunstock Nordic Association (GNA). The 2026 edition is the 49th running and serves as the traditional kick-off for the Gilford Old Home Day festivities. The course is a certified 5K (NH95009WN) and begins in front of the Gilford Village Store.

The event is hosted in Gilford with bib pickup available at Gilford Elementary School on the day before the race and on race morning. Participants are grouped by age divisions: 12 and Under; 13–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; and 70 plus. Parking is directed to Gilford Elementary or the Gilford Middle/High School. Results and awards are presented near the finish line.

Race-day registration fees are listed by age group and family rate; race t-shirts are available for the first 100 registered participants. Past race results and photos are maintained for previous years. Proceeds from the event support the Gunstock Nordic Association’s year-round training programs.
