The GiGi's Playhouse Long Island 5K Run/Walk is an annual community event held at Shorefront Park in Patchogue, NY. Distance Options

- 1 Mile Walk: An untimed walking course.
- 321 Dash: An untimed short distance event for participants ages 12 and under.
- Virtual 5K: A remote option allowing participants to track and upload their own results between October 4 and October 11.
Amenities and Awards
The event provides various amenities including live text and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks before the race day. Competitors in the 5K category are eligible for several awards:
- Cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers.
- A performance bonus for breaking the existing men's or women's course records.
- Awards for the top male and female finishers in age groups ranging from 10 and under to 70+.
- Recognition for the largest team and the fastest team.
Course and Logistics
The 5K takes place on a certified road course, while the 1 mile walk follows a separate mapped route. Bib pickup is available at the venue starting one hour before the first event begins.
