GiGi's Playhouse Long Island 5K Run/Walk 2026
GiGi's Playhouse Long Island hosts its 3rd annual 5K Run & 321 Dash on October 4, 2026 at Shorefront Park, 49 Smith St., Patchogue, NY. The event is presented by Cirigliano Agency and CoHo Coffee House and will proceed rain or shine. The race benefits GiGi's Playhouse Long Island, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to promote acceptance.
Distances and formats include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Walk (untimed)
- 321 Dash (untimed, ages 12 and under)
- Virtual 5K (participants may upload times and photos 10/4 - 10/11)
The 5K course is USATF certified. Amenities listed for participants include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrations completed three weeks before race day. Awards include cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers, a bonus for breaking course records, top age-group finishers across standard divisions, and team awards for largest and fastest teams (fastest team scoring requires five members). Merchandise such as themed race socks is available for purchase. Registration fees are non-refundable and are applied toward race expenses.
