Giants Head Weekend
Giants Head Weekend takes place on 20 and 21 June 2026 in Sydling St. Nicholas near Dorchester, Dorset. The event is organised by BigFeat Events and uses the village hall as event base and registration point.
Races are spread over the two days, with Saturday including the Marathon and the 10K, and Sunday offering the Half Marathon and the LittleFeet Bell Race.

Routes are on trails through the Sydling and Cerne valleys. The courses include steep climbs and sharp descents and are fully waymarked. Aid stations are provided on course and a bag drop tent is available on each race day.
Weekend facilities include camping on Friday and Saturday nights. A camping pitch for a family of four or a campervan is priced at £30 and includes toilet facilities; showers are available at the village hall. Evening meals are available to pre order for Friday and Saturday, with vegetarian options offered.
Mandatory kit requirements include carrying at least 500ml of fluid and appropriate clothing for variable weather. Organisers recommend downloading the GPX file for route navigation. Cut off times are stated for the marathon and half marathon; the 10K and LittleFeet races have no cut off. The LittleFeet Bell Race requires on day registration and does not include a finishers medal. Participants can opt for a tree to be planted instead of a medal.
