Gianna's Cheers for Hope - 5K Fun Run/Walk
Gianna's Cheers for Hope is the third annual community fundraiser held on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at De Muro Park on Margaret Avenue in Nutley, New Jersey. The event is presented as a 5K fun run/walk and includes additional course options for participants of different ages.
The event format includes:
- 3 mile run/walk
- 1 mile fun run for children
Participants who register receive a t-shirt and a water bottle. Base admission amounts listed are Adults and children 12 or older $35, children 6 to 11 $10, and children 5 or younger free. Late registration and day-of registration are allowed at the park, but t-shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants. A registration price shown for the 5K including mandatory charges is $38.53 for the listed registration window.
On-site provisions include light refreshments such as hot chocolate, coffee, bagels, cookies, and apple cider donuts. The venue provides parking, restrooms, a playground, sitting areas, and activities for children including rock painting and cornhole. Costumes are encouraged and the event is described as rain or shine.
