Ghost-to-Gobble 1 Mile, 5K, and 8K : 3rd Annual
Ghost-to-Gobble is a 501(c)(3) community running event held on the University of Central Arkansas campus in Conway, Arkansas at 201 Donaghey Ave. The event includes the following distances:
- 1 mile
- 5K
- 8K (new for 2026)
The 5K course is USATF certified and passes UCA landmarks such as Estes Stadium, Reynolds Performance Hall, Harding Fountain, Old Main, and Stone Dam Creek. The event welcomes wheelchairs and assistive devices; bicycles and pets are not allowed. One aid station will be provided, with Conway Fire Department and UCA athletic training coverage on site.
Ten percent of event profits will benefit UCA Living Unleashed, a nonprofit that raises and trains companion dogs through Canine Companions for Independence. Remaining proceeds support UCA Physical Therapy and Exercise and Sport Science programs, including student scholarships, research, conference attendance, and low cost therapy services.
New features for 2026 include the 8K distance, custom trophies for overall winners, age group awards, free photos, and a referral refund incentive that offers a $15 refund after five referred registrations, up to $30. Registration is nonrefundable. Packet pick up is scheduled at UCA Buffalo Alumni Hall on November 4 and 5 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm; race day packet pick up is also available in the morning.
