Ghost-to-Gobble 5K

Event overview

The Ghost-to-Gobble 5k & 1-Mile takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Conway, AR (201 Donaghey Ave, 72035). The event returns after an inaugural race in 2024 and adds a family-friendly 1-mile fun run and Best Costume Awards for individuals and groups. Wheelchairs and assistive devices are welcome; bikes and pets are not allowed.

Registration (no refunds)

• 1-mile: Sept 1–Sept 30 $15; Oct 1–Oct 31 $20; Nov 1 (race day) $25. Finisher medal included, no shirt.
• 5K: Sept 1–Sept 30 $25; Oct 1–Oct 31 $35; Nov 1 (race day) $45. Finisher medal and guaranteed event T-shirt if registered by Oct 3. Awards for top 3 overall male and female finishers.

Course and services

• The USATF-certified 5K course passes UCA landmarks including Estes Stadium, Reynolds Performance Hall, Harding Fountain, Old Main, and Stone Dam Creek.
• One aid station; Conway Fire Department and UCA athletic training coverage.

Logistics

• Packet pick-up is available Oct 30 and Oct 31 at the UCA Doyne Health Science Center, and on race day at the start line (ID required).
• Multiple campus parking areas are listed; a home football game that afternoon may make parking difficult.

• 10% of profits go to Special Olympics Arkansas. Remaining funds support UCA Exercise & Sport Science and Physical Therapy departments for research, scholarships, conferences, community therapy services, and student events.
