Get Your Rear in Gear Buffalo
The Get Your Rear in Gear event is a charity 5K run and walk held at Beaver Island State Park in Grand Island, New York, on August 29, 2026. The event raises funds for the Colon Cancer Coalition and includes options for in-person and virtual participation.

Registration pricing is published in three windows:
- Early bird through July 29: Adult $30; Youth (18 and under) $18; Kid’s Fun Run $18; Virtual $25.
- Regular July 30 through August 26: Adult $35; Youth (18 and under) $20; Kid’s Fun Run $20; Virtual $25.
- Packet pick-up and race day fees August 28–29: Adult $40; Youth (18 and under) $25; Kid’s Fun Run $20.
Online registration closes on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Packet pick-up is scheduled for August 28 and August 29.
The event schedule includes an opening ceremony, the kid’s run, the 5K run and walk, and a closing ceremony with awards presented to individual and team finishers.
