Get to the Green takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Columbia, SC at 2307 Devine Street. The in-person event offers multiple race distances and family activities tied to the St. Pat’s in Five Points Festival. For in-person 5K, 10K and the 1-Mile Family Fun Run, registration includes festival entry, a shirt, a custom finisher’s medal, and post-race refreshments. A municipality fee of $3.00 applies.

Logistics and awards

All events start and finish on Devine Street near the festival entrance. Time limits are specified for the road races: the 10K has a 2-hour time limit and the 5K has a 1.5-hour time limit. The 1-Mile Family Fun Run is marked untimed; the fun run and some entries include festival entry for participants aged 12 and up. Registrations for the Kids 12 and under 5K do not include a festival wristband; children 12 and under do not need a ticket to enter the festival.

Packet pickup is available on the days before race day at Strictly Running (2515 Devine St) and on race day at the start/finish area. Awards for the 5K and 10K include overall and master categories and top-three awards by male and female age groups, including age ranges from 10 and under through 75+.
