About the race
Get to the Green is a road race presented by MUSC Health that opens the St. Pat’s in Five Points festival. The event includes three distances and finishes with awards and an after party at Maxcy Gregg Park. All events start and finish on Blossom Street.

Registration for in-person races includes entry into the St. Pat’s Festival, a race shirt, a custom finisher’s medal, and post-race refreshments. Kids 12 and under may register for a reduced fee; this option does not include a festival wristband and applies only to in-person race entries.
Awards for the 5K and 10K include overall and masters categories plus age-group awards. Overall awards are given to the top three males and females and to the top three master males and females. Age-group awards are given to the top three males and females in categories ranging from 10 and under through 70 plus.
Packet pickup is available at a local running store prior to race day, and race day packet pickup will be at the start/finish line. Free shuttle service called The Comet operates from two designated parking locations with specified drop-off and pick-up points near the course. Costumes and good luck charms are welcomed.
