Event Overview
Get to the Green is a road race held in Columbia, South Carolina. The event serves as the kickoff for the St. Pat's in Five Points Festival.
Distances
The event offers several race distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk (untimed)
- Kids Mile
- Kids 12 and under 5k
All events start and finish on Devine Street near the festival entrance. A municipality fee of $3.00 applies to registrations.
Registration and Packet Pickup
Standard registration includes entry to the St. Pat's Festival, a shirt, a custom finisher's medal, and post-race refreshments. Registration for kids 12 and under is $25 and does not include a festival wristband, as children do not need a ticket to enter the festival.
Packet pickup is available at Strictly Running (2515 Devine St) on Thursday and Friday before the race. Race day packet pickup is at the start/finish line from 6:30 a.m. Registrations are also accepted at packet pickup with cash or credit card.
Awards
Awards are given for the 5k and 10k races. Overall awards are presented to the top three males, top three females, top three master males, and top three master females. Age group awards are given to the top three males and females in numerous categories, from 10 and under to 75+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
