Event Overview
Get to the Green is a road race held in Columbia, South Carolina, serving as the opening event for the St. Pat’s in Five Points Festival. The event features multiple distances starting and finishing on Devine Street near the festival entrance. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and good luck charms during the race.

Participant Information
Registration for the events includes several amenities for participants. Runners receive a shirt, a custom finisher’s medal, and refreshments after the race. For adult participants, entry into the St. Pat’s Festival is also included with the registration fee. Children aged 12 and under can register for a reduced rate, though their registration does not include a festival wristband as they do not require a ticket for entry.
Competition and Awards
Recognition is provided for top performers in the 5k and 10k distances. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three in the masters categories. Age group awards are also distributed to the top three male and female participants in brackets ranging from 10 and under to 75 and older.
Packet Pickup
Participants can collect their race materials at a local running store on Thursday and Friday before the event. Registration is also available during these times.
