GET LOST 5K with Northwest PA K9 Search and Rescue
GET LOST 5K is a community running and walking event on June 6, 2026 at Harborcreek Community Park, Firman Road, Erie PA 16510. Proceeds benefit the Northwest PA K9 Search and Rescue Team.
The event program includes a 5K (3.1 miles) run, a 5K walk, a dog-friendly 5K for canine partners, and a Kids Dash. The 5K run and walk each have a registration fee of $25. The canine entry and the Kids Dash are listed with no registration fee. Race t shirts are available for an additional $10 and are not guaranteed for registrations after May 22. A group pricing option is offered for teams of four or more at $15 per person; shirts are not included in that price. Same day registration is available for $30 and race shirts are not guaranteed for same day registrants.
Participants receive finisher medals. Awards are planned for top male and female overall finishers and for male and female finishers by age groups, including 14 and under, 15 to 19, then 10 year age groups up to 70 and over. A top dog award is listed for the canine category. Food trucks are noted as part of the event amenities. Retractable leashes are not permitted for dogs.
