Celebrating Dads - Get Active in Temiskaming
Sunday, June 14 in Cobalt, the event offers running and walking routes around Cobalt Lake with start and finish at Teck Prospect Park beside the lake. Routes pass by viewpoints and historic sites in the town.
Distance options:
- 1 km out-and-back
- 2 km out-and-back
- 5 km loop around the lake
- 10 km loop around the lake
- 15 km loop around the lake
The 5 km, 10 km and 15 km correspond to one, two and three loops of the lake respectively. Attendance prizes and a complimentary BBQ/brunch are provided at the park after the event.
Participant information: strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. Race bibs are provided for timed results and no bib means no recorded time. The event is cup-less; participants should bring a reusable water bottle to fill at water stations or at the start/finish. Gently used footwear donations are accepted for Soles4Souls Canada.
