Georgia National Fair 5K
The Georgia National Fair 5K is held on October 10, 2026 in Perry, Georgia on the City Hall lawn at 808 Carroll Street. The course runs through Historic Downtown Perry on paved streets and is stroller friendly. The official race distance is 3.1 Miles and the 5K is a timed event.
Registration opens December 28, 2025 and closes October 9, 2026. The registration fee is $40.00. Shirt sizes are guaranteed only for registrations completed before Monday, September 28, 2026. Registered participants receive a commemorative race bib in their packet and a voucher for free fair admission. All 5K finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal. Participants who complete the course with a dog receive a finisher bandana for the dog.
Awards are given to men and women in multiple age categories from Under 10 through 80 and over. Packet pickup is available on dates before the race at local locations in Perry including the Perry Welcome Center and Ghost Runner Pizza as well as on race day at City Hall lawn.
The event includes a Mascot Mini Mile, a very short course of under 300 feet held before the 5K. The Mascot Mini Mile is free for mascots and is organized as a brief community appearance rather than a competitive race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
