The Georgia 5K Run for Breast Cancer takes place on 05/08/2027 in Macon, Georgia, at 5080 Riverside Dr. The event is a professionally timed 3.1 mile run/walk presented as a family-friendly activity that encourages participants to wear pink costumes to raise awareness for breast cancer. Participants who register on or before 04/25 are guaranteed a 5K event t-shirt on race day. A referral program offers a $20 refund when five friends register through a participant’s referral link provided after registration. Awards are given to top finishers and by age group. Categories include Top 3 Overall male and female finishers; first male and female masters 40 and older; first male and female grandmasters 50 and older; and Top 3 male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 74, and 75 and older. The event supports GAABC’s breast cancer programs in Georgia and aims to raise funds and awareness through community participation and fundraising efforts.
