Event details

The 2026 Georgia 5K Run for Breast Cancer is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at The Shoppes at River Crossing in Macon, Georgia (5080 Riverside Dr., Macon, GA 31210). The event includes the following distances:

5K - in-person
5K - virtual

Format and features

The in-person 5K is a professionally timed run/walk. A virtual option allows participants to complete the 5K at their chosen location any time on or before May 10, 2026; registered virtual participants receive an official T-shirt and a swag bag delivered to their address. Entry fees listed are $30 for the in-person 5K and $35 for the virtual participant. Registration opens January 12, 2026.

Awards are given to the top three in each listed category, including Overall Male and Female, Masters (40+), Grandmasters (50+), and age groups for 12 and under and 13-19. A Best Dressed in Pink contest will award prizes for Most Creative Look, Pink from Head to Toe, and Best Group Theme. The event supports GAABC’s fundraising efforts related to breast cancer.
